Frequency.
Frequency is defined in physics as the number of waves that pass a fixed point in unit time. Every living thing, both animate and inanimate, every microbe, virus, bacteria, every sound, colour and thought has a frequency. The frequency of each thing is measured by assessing the rate of cycles per second, its measurement is hertz, so 1 hertz is 1 cycle per second. Frequency, according to Google is the rate at which current changes direction per second. There are high frequencies and low frequencies, there are sounds and music that sound melodious and resonate at a high frequency, and those that are heavy and resonate at a low frequency. Sounds like these have been known as the harmonic wave and the devils interval. The ear that can hear will instinctively know a sound that is of a higher or lower frequency and thus will accordingly feel either light or heavy. When you listen to music ask yourself, what feeling does it invoke? Our emotions too have a frequency, for example Love has a frequency of 528Hz and Fear has a frequency of 4Hz. Note the high and low frequency correlating with high and low emotions. The Earth itself has its own frequency of 7.83Hz, known as the Schumann resonance. The Solfeggio Frequencies are known to resonate with the chakras of the human body. The root chakra being the base at 396Hz and the crown being the highest at 963Hz. So why are frequencies important? And why should we take note of how high or low our frequencies are? They are important because they affect our health and wellbeing, our vitality and our ability to stay strong, even though we may still encounter illness or emotional storms, if we consider how high or low our frequencies are, we will be able assess and address how well we are able to fair against unexpected illness or life events. So how do we stay in a high frequency? This is the tricky bit. Many of you will already know this, what to do and how tricky it can be to do it. Here on our Rana Health social media site we are constantly saying a similar message. The reason for this is to encourage you to raise your frequency. In order to shift out of lower frequency and into a strong and vibrant body and mind state it is essential to do a daily check in, even several times a day. Ask yourself, “what is my frequency and does this bring me closer to my joy, or further away?” Suggestions include: Eat fresh foods and drink plenty of herbal teas and mineralised water. Exercise in a way that brings you joy. Listen to uplifting music. Surround yourself with nature, crystals, beautiful art work. Bush and walks beside the sea are important. Meditate, give gratitude. Have faith. Love with all your heart, accept, forgive and be inclusive. Be the light you want to see in the world. Glass half full. Solution based thinking. Accept, this too will pass. Laughter, find the humour, this is the best medicine. Loving kindness is a virtue. We are all different and this is a gift. Fear not. Arohanui. X
